 Our Story

Mary’s Little Angels Dance Studio was founded in 2022 in loving memory of our mother, Mary Hamby, following her courageous battle with cancer.

What began as a tribute to her life has blossomed into a vibrant, uplifting space where dancers of all ages from toddlers to adults can grow, express themselves, and build confidence in a supportive, family-centered environment.

Here, dance is more than movement it’s:

Shaniqua Galloway

Co-Owner & Creative Director

With over 25 years of dance experience, Shaniqua leads the artistic vision of the studio. A graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, she brings:

• Professional choreography

• High-energy instruction

• Award-winning competition leadership

Her passion lies in helping every dancer discover their confidence and own the stage.

 

Adreka Witherspoon

Co-Owner & Operations Director

Adreka is the backbone of the studio experience. With over 20 years in dance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, she ensures:

• Smooth day-to-day operations

• Strong parent communication

• A welcoming, family-like environment

She turns vision into reality—making sure every dancer and parent feels seen, supported, and valued.

Capturing every smile, performance, and milestone through photography and social media.

Ashley Vick – Office Assistant
Keeping everything organized behind the scenes so families can focus on enjoying the experience
